Steps to continue to obtain the necessary documents:
1.- Organize the power of attorney to process the CPF (Brazilian
identification tax number).
2.- Legalize the passport in the Brazilian consulate.
3.- Send both of the documents to Brazil, where the person
whom obtains the power of attorney will carry out the process
of the CPF.
The process takes two days.
4.- The next step is to prepare the process of the sale and
purchase, send by fax the documents to the buyer to
receive his/her verification. Once everything is checked to be
correctly, the buyer will proceed with the payment of the deposit
established (normally it is 10% of the total value of the
property). It will be made through transference to the Brazilian
bank, at attention of the OWNER – SELLER OF THE PROPERTY.
The operation for the benefited is made through a letter of
credit to assure the total safety of the operation. In this way the
financial entity only gives out the quantity deposited in the
moment that they receive the official receipt of the operation.
5.- The seller and the buyer (or the selected person to sign in
his/her name) will now sign the sale and purchase contract.
These agreements WILL FORMALIZE normally after 30 days.

6.- The last step is to sign the deeds of the definitive sale and
purchase.
